"NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS" TREE SKIRT

This unique tree skirt is especially designed for a tree that sits in a corner or close to a wall; the off-center hole puts lots of skirt in front of the tree and less at the back. The designs depict the "Night Before Christmas" theme and co-ordinate with my boutique tissue box cover of the same name and the Christmas Card Holder. This design project requires a minimum 5x7 inch ( 130x180mm) embroidery area.

The pictured skirt is approximately 44 inches diameter and is made of pre-quilted fabric; embroidered felt patches are sewn to the fabric circle; the edge is overcast and then finished with purchased corder braid.

Complete, illustrated instructions for embroidering the patches and step-by-step instructions for constructing the Christmas tree skirt are included with the designs. The instructions are illustrated with photos ensuring that even the most inexperienced embroiderer/ sewer will be successful.
