(purchased or make your own). A napkin suited to this project must have a flat, rolled or overcast hem; a napkin with a thick, bulky hem is not suitable. The corner
and the edge are quickly appliquéd and the underside of the appliqué design is clean of threads except for the final satin stitched outline.
A set of appliquéd napkins makes a super housewarming, hostess, shower, wedding, Christmas, etc. gift! This design project requires a minimum 5" x 7" ( 130mm
x180mm) embroidery area. The embroidery and appliqué are completely finished in the hoop. If you choose one of the long, narrow designs, you can complete
THREE napkins in ONE (5"x7" area) hooping; that's a set of six napkins in only two hoopings!
