Finished-in-the-hoop quilt squares were zigzagged together to make these small table mats.
These lovely quilting designs sew out in one continuous, single run (i.e. no back tracking). These quilting designs require a minimum 5"/130mm wide embroidery area. Embroider the designs onto a single layer of fabric or onto a quilt "sandwich" of top fabric, batting and bottom fabric. The "sandwich" can be a small square or an already completed quilt. Included are illustrated instructions plus size tremplates on how to embroider an already finished quilt.
BONUS.. For machines with minimum 140mm/5.5" or wider embroidery area. If you prefer to make finished-in-the-hoop quilt squares to zigzag together (see table mats below) a satin stitch border frame comes with the designs. A quilt design plus the smallest satin border frame requires a minimum 140x140mm( 5.5"x5.5") embroidery area. The 2 larger satin borders are 150mm(5.89") and 160mm(6.12") square and require a sufficiently large embroidery area. Instructions on how to combine the design with the border frame are included.
