EMBROIDERED CUSHION SQUARES

A fun new concept for home embroidery!

The designs are based on traditional crewel embroidery and feature textured surfaces and subtly blended colors. They suit both casual and formal decor.

The Brother 8200/8500 or its Babylock equivalent machine and the JUMBO 3-position hoop are needed to embroider the COUNTRY GARDEN square. The Brother ULT2001/2002D or the ELLAGEO machine is needed to embroider the CASTLE GARDEN, the ABBEY GARDEN or the COTTAGE GARDEN squares. The ULT and ELLAGEO machine will also embroider the COUNTRY GARDEN square using the 13x18 cm (5x7 inch) hoop adapter with the JUMBO hoop.

The finished COUNTRY GARDEN square is 12 x 12 inches, the ABBEY, CASTLE and COTTAGE squares are 10 x10 inches. Each square is completed in 3 hoopings, but with my easy alignment method, you DON'T EVER HAVE TO HOOP THE FABRIC!! You hoop only the stabilizer and use spray adhesive to secure the fabric. The included step-by-step instructions are lavished with pictures to illustrate each step; just line up the alignment markings and, even if you have never aligned design motifs before, by following the simple instructions, you will end up with a successful project. If you are hesitant, the easiest one is the Castle Garden design because, although the panels are aligned, one panel does not have to precisely meet with another. The designs do take some time to stitch out, but the end result is worth it.
