CREATIVE WAYS TO USE THE CUSHION SQUARES

You can use them for items other than cushions.

A chair-back cover for a Thonet bentwood rocking chair.

A wall hanging using one of the single designs in monochrome colors and a variety of threads such as twist, metallic, variegated etc.

A bell-pull to co-ordinate with the slip-covered hassock.

A hassock slip-cover embroidered on all four sides and the top. All three 10 x 10" squares were used for the slip-cover.

This is an easy-to-make hassock cover; it is four loose panels of fabric attached to the top square. Two opposite fabric panels are slightly wider and fold underneath the other two.

This drape and valance cover a small window with an ugly view. The same design concept can be used for long side drapes, a bedspread or a quilt. The design on the valance can be duplicated & flipped to make a huge center design.
