Innovis 4000D, Duetta and Ellegante Machine Cover

The revised instructions tell you how to make this simple alteration to the basic pattern.

The cover is contoured to fit the machine and the attached embroidery arm.Like all of my design projects it comes with full instructions for making the cover plus appropriate sewing-related designs. The cover is made of five panels. The pattern is easy to draft as all five panels are cut as rectangles which are cut to shape after they have been embroidered. You can embroider all or none of the panels. I chose to embroider only the side panels with two of the large designs that come with the project. Of course you can embroider any design of your choice and as many designs as will fit on the cover.

This is the operator side of my cover. The design, a large sewing basket bordered with a tape measure and rotary cutter, is one of the designs included with this project.

This is the handle side of my cover. The "hooped-fabric" applique design is included with the project. I embroidered the included "ribbon-border" design and my monogram on the "hooped fabric".

This shows the back of the cover. The actual size pattern for shaping the curved seams of the side and back panels comes with the instructions, making it easy to cut the panels to the correct shape.

This picture shows how the attachable thread rack sits on the machine.

Rhonda Smith has the attachable thread stand for her Ellegante and asked if I could make a cover that could be used without removing the thread rack. It was a simple alteration. This shows how the adapted cover fits.

Rhonda made a small separate cover to drape over the threads!Very clever and the combination looks great!

	This is a close-up of the sewing basket with the tape measure border. I put it on the cover, but it can be framed and used as a picture too!		This is a combination of two separate designs. The "hooped fabric" applique design and the "ribbon border". Of course you can enhance the applique design with a design of your choice.
	This is the large "hoop frame" design. Enhance it by embroidering a design of your choice inside it. The Innovis text is a freebie. You will find it below.		Sage advice for anyone who sews! Embroider it on the cover or frame it and hang it on the wall of your sewing room.

	Fill this tape measure, thread and thimble border with text or designs of your choice!		This narrow border design fits inside the large "hoop frame" design.
