THE ESSENTIAL EASTER BASKET!

These unique baskets are so cute and will be as big a hit on Easter morning as the goodies they contain! All of the quilted basket sections are completely finished in the hoop, then sewn together to make the baskets. The designs are applique-embellished with embroidery. The rectangular basket is approx. 5" x7" and the square basket is approx. 5" x 5". This easy-to-make design project requires a minimum 130mmx180mm ( 5"x7") embroidery area. This design project comes with illustrated step-by-step instructions.

Pack this basket chock full with Easter treats!

The rectangular basket has a bunny design on the 7" side; it can be made with or without the handle. The handle is made in two sections and tied together with a ribbon.

The 5" side as an easter egg design; a plain stipple 5" side is included if you prefer to not have a design on this side.

 

Omit the handles and use it as a table accessory. It can be used to hold bread or other dry food. Fill it with silk flowers or colored eggs for your Easter dinner table centerpiece.

 

The small square basket holds plenty of Easter goodies!

 

This basket can be made without the handle and used for other purposes. It can be filled with nuts or cocktail snacks, plus it's the right size for cocktail napkins.

 

I filled an old-fashioned drinking glass with parsley to make a lovely, fragrant ( and inexpensive) table decoration.

If you're into the Easter rush, save time by using a small Easter print fabric and the plain stipple section to make the small basket.

Betty used polar fleece for the bunny applique. What a great idea! She coverd the fleece with Solvy prior to stitching the design's details and outline.
