Champagne deserves a well-dressed glass! No matter what the occasion, this unique flute bustier will be as big a hit as the champagne in the glass. Toasting glasses dressed in satin and tied with lace or tulle grace the hands of the happy couple at weddings and anniversaries. For a picnic, make country-style bustiers with gingham and sunflowers; choose streamers and confetti to ring in the New Year. Whatever the occasion, whether the bubbles in the glass rise from champagne or ginger ale, the bustier suits the scene.
The bustier and the collar can be used together to completely dress the flute (the glasses in the top row) or they can be used individually (left picture, bottom row). The bustier fits both the tall and the short flute ( middle picture, top row) The collar and the skirt fit all stemware. The six embroidery designs for these projects can be seen more clearly in the picture of the stemware skirts. In addition to the six designs there is a 'black tie' collar (left picture , bottom row) and a heart-shaped Valentine skirt.
The bustier, the collar and the stemware skirt are completely finished in the hoop; they require very little fabric and take only a few minutes to complete. Ribbon, tulle or lace is used to tie the bustier closed. The collar is self-closing and the skirt wraps around the stem of the glass.
